Little Free Pantry
The Little Free Pantry is open to everyone and need is determined by the individual. Just like a Little Free Library, no one is checking to see what is being taken.
The pantry is stocked through donations by generous community members, organizations, and local companies. You can drop off donations at the front desk.
Our Little Free Pantry often distributes food items after the date on the package. Food manufacturers use different date codes to ensure that consumers receive their product at peak quality. Once a product is past code date, many manufacturers donate it to food banks. Our volunteers monitor this food to ensure that the quality remains good.

Seed Library
Thank you for your interest in our Seed Catalog – our packets of free seeds have now all been claimed. Hopefully, we will be offering bulbs in the fall for planting at that time.
We also still have some virtual events scheduled to help everyone with planning and managing their gardens. Registration is now open for the programs you see listed – follow the link below to sign up.

Climate Resilience Hub
The Plymouth Public Library operates as a Climate Resilience Hub with Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW). Resilience Hubs fulfill their function by acting as an Engagement Center, providing free education and information on climate change and local weather emergency preparedness. CREW hopes Hubs will be places where people can create a conversation about extreme weather and climate change issues, examine how their community can prepare, and plan what steps the community should take.
Stop by the Reference area to check out your community’s hub and for specific resources on climate resilience.

Recovery Corner
The Recovery Corner is open to everyone! The items available in this area can be taken on an as needed basis and do not require being checked out. Please feel free to take what you need when you need it!
The Recovery Corner has harm reduction supplies, such as Narcan and fentanyl testing strips. The goal of harm reduction and for the Recovery Corner is to provide access to life-saving materials for people from all walks of life. There are also resources available about local recovery centers and treatment options. We even have books that are helpful to children who may have parents, guardians, or other family/friends that are experiencing substance abuse issues.
Whether you are experiencing a substance use issue, are a person who has been affected by substance use issues, or are a community member who would like to be prepared if put in a position to need these items, the library is committed to providing barrier-free access to these materials.
We are lucky to receive our supplies from local recovery centers and harm reduction centers in the Plymouth area.
